Redhat Enterprise Linux the world's leading provider of open source solutions, today announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Government of Kerala.
By this MOU this will support Kerala's deployment of open source software that will improve the e-governance further and e-literacy efforts in the State of Kerala. The Kerala Government's IT Policy draft has identified Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) as a major strategic component.
Red Hat will also train school teachers in Kerala on Linux desktop skills under a "Train-the-Trainer" program. By which specially the Linux will enter into the School education of Kerala. This is the main important thing that it should come out or start from this stage. Now a days every user first hand is on the operating sytem Windows may be because of its popularity or entertainments (Like games, DVDs, players)
